I know I crapped out towards the latter half of 2007 with my movie list, but honestly, Niels & I were so sucked into TV that we didn't watch as many movies the second half of the year. But it's a new year and we're trying to watch more movies once again.
24. Lord of War - saw it before, really good
23. Stranger Than Fiction - watched with some of our teacher friends, I got more out of it the second time
22. Pursuit of Happyness - good, but I'm ok if I never see it again
21. I, Robot - saw watched it again with my students
20. Shoot 'Em Up - Quite fun
19. Letters from Iwo Jima - really really good
18. Tin Man - retake of Wizard of Oz, meh, it was ok.
17. Sweeney Todd - Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter are brilliant
16. Run Fat By Run - really sweet & funny & it's with the guy from Shaun of the Dead, can't go wrong
15. Little Children - brilliant, but a heart racer
14. Golden Compass - I was a bit disappointed, they had a great cast, the acting was superb, the CG was amazing, but the editing felt wrong, the transitions were bad, and I don't like where they ended it, but I understand why they did.
13. Planet Terror - I'm starting to love zombie films but this one was a bit much with the gore for the first half, but Robert Rodriguez is a genius, in my book.
12. Atonement - started off slow, but an amazing film
11. Unbreakable - it bit, it bit so bad, it could have been good, but noooo M. Night farked it up
10. Paprika - this really cool Japanese anime about dreams
9. The Invasion - not sure why it got panned by the critics, I thought it was a damn fine remake
8. Nancy Drew - cute, but not my cup of tea
7. I Am Legend - holy crap, so good, it's a shame sci-fi movies often get overlooked for awards
6. Bourne Ultimatum - very good, love the trilogy
5. Knocked Up - considering how much I hated Superbad, I was hesitant to see this, but it was quite good.
4. Let's Go to Prison - I *heart* Will Arnett, he's so funny
3. Hot Rod - I like it a lot more than Niels
2. Nacho Libre - I was really surprised, quite funny
1. Tristan & Isolde - oh god, it was so bad.
