The Frankfurt subway system is one big clusterfuck. There are no
directions on what you need to do other than to insert money. The
subway stops and the number you need to press to figure out your fare
don't match because the number you need to press depends on the region
you're traveling to, not the stop itself.
Niels asked four different people how to get from the airport to the
hotel. From the four different answers he pieced together a semblance
of an idea of where we needed to go.
When I took this photo we were over four hours behind schedule due to
the delay at Dulles Airport, the weather in Copenhagen and the hour
spent trying to figure out how to get to the hotel.
Needless to say we were really really tired. But had an hour train ride to the hotel in front of us.
