After wandering around the Kaiserdom for a while, Niels & I had lunch, at a Chinese restaurant of all places, and headed towards the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to catch a train to Krefeld by way of Dusseldorf.

When we got to the Hauptbahnhof, Niels & I went to the ticket office to make sure that we could catch the train we wanted to. For as expansive as the train system is, it doesn't seem to be the most user friendly.  The signs to let you know what line to stand in to get the help you need to get where you want to go aren't the most obvious, and it's not very straightforward.

We stood in one line for what seemed like a too long of a time and wound up changing lines and got the assistance we needed and made our way to the platform to catch the train to Dusseldorf.

I regret that I didn't take more photos of the the Hauptbahnhof because it was very impressive with the high ceilings, number of train tracks and the amount of people coming and going.

This photo was taken inside the train while we were waiting to depart.
