As soon as Eva Niels & I walked out of the Koln (Colonge) HBF and
made a quick left, there it was. Smack dab in front of us.
It was very overwhelming. In a way I was hoping we'd somehow
"sneak up" on it, but no such luck. The area around the Cathedral is so
built up that you don't get the chance to fully appreciate it from far
away.
As you can see they're doing construction right in front and repair work was being done on the spires.
