I've uploaded a few more photos. I think it's going to take me as many days we were in Germany to upload and caption the photos! I'm finding it difficult to decide which photos to post (I took over 400) and I'm having to reference my journal and my memories and double check that I'm keeping everything in order.

After a very long day of flights, movies, nearly throwing up from being air sick, lugging luggage (thanks Niels!) and time zone changes I am home.

I'm on the verge of falling asleep so it's a short post for now.

The trip to Germany was one of the best things to ever happen to me.

I'm off to bed. I will post more in the next few days.

View Article  Food Tastes Better Here
Niels and I are still in Düsseldorf haning out with Eva (who totally and completely kicks ass). We went to Köln today and saw the Cathedral and wandered the city.

Someone commented that she didn't believe that the food can taste better here. I didn't believe it either. I thought Karen and Niels were making it up, and I didn't believe it was true until I came here  The breads cakes and pateries are the best I've ever eaten.  There is something about German love of desserts that just oozes out of how they're made.  And the coffee... ooooh the coffee. It's nice and strong and dark and just so yummy.

Our days have been quite full and I've not had the chance to process everything nor have I had the chance to update my journal. So, I apologize for the scattered thoughts.

Tomorrow we will wander along the Rhine so I can take some photos and in the afternoon we will be taking the train to  Bremen for three days and while there I don't know if I will have a chance to update while I am there.

Also, I can kick myself for not bringing the cord to transfer photos because Eva had offered to let me download them to her laptop and then post them.  So sad. I think I've taken about 100 photos so far, so be forwarned that there will be a lot to see. heheeee

Hope you are well. Love and kisses to you.

Today's the day. In twelve hours I will be flying somplace over the Atlantic. I couldn't even begin to guess where, since I've no clue what the flight pattern will be.

Unless Niels and I go to an internet cafe, and I'm hoping we will at some point, this will be my last post until I get back.

I hope you all have a wonderful week! Will fill you in on the trip when I return.

Love and kisses to you all.
