Niels and I are still in Düsseldorf haning out with Eva (who totally
and completely kicks ass). We went to Köln today and saw the Cathedral
and wandered the city.
Someone
commented that she didn't believe that the food can taste better here.
I didn't believe it either. I thought Karen and Niels were making it
up, and I didn't believe it was true until I came here The breads
cakes and pateries are the best I've ever eaten. There is
something about German love of desserts that just oozes out of how
they're made. And the coffee... ooooh the coffee. It's nice and
strong and dark and just so yummy.
Our days have been quite full and I've not had the chance to process
everything nor have I had the chance to update my journal. So, I
apologize for the scattered thoughts.
Tomorrow we will wander along the Rhine so I can take some photos and
in the afternoon we will be taking the train to Bremen for three
days and while there I don't know if I will have a chance to update
while I am there.
Also, I can kick myself for not bringing the cord to transfer photos
because Eva had offered to let me download them to her laptop and then
post them. So sad. I think I've taken about 100 photos so far, so
be forwarned that there will be a lot to see. heheeee
Hope you are well. Love and kisses to you.
