Waiting to Leave
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 5:25pm on March 10th for
Frankfurt. We were all boarded waiting to leave and sat there and sat
there... wondering why we hadn't taken off yet. It turned out that we
were supposed to hit some bad wather over the north Atlantic and they
had to add extra fuel. Of course the fuel guys didn't know this so we
had to sit on the tarmac for over an hour waiting for them to fill up
the tanks. It wouldn't have been so bad waiting if we were kept
informed on what's going on. We must have sat on the plane for almost
an hour before they told us what was going on. This delay made me and
Niels quite nervous because we were afraid we'd miss our connection in
Coppenhagen.

Welcome home! Now get some rest, and when you feel better you have to tell us EVERYTHING!
PS Thanks for the postcard! Alex |
