The apartment is almost packed, all that's really left is the kitchen.
Pretty much everything else will get packed into a suitcase. It's
really weird to know that by this time Thursday the apartment is going
to be pretty much empty.
I only spent a year at this apartment but of all the places I lived since moving down here it
's the place that most felt like home. I love my little apartment it had lots of
character. Granted it had lots of problems (the office flooding, the
bedroom window flooding because the gutters were full, the uneven
floors, no real dining room) but I wouldn't change any of it for the
world.
The neighborhood is fanastic too, we're only two blocks from Eastern
Market, although I regret we never took full advantage of it.
So many wonderful things happened, a bunch of sad stuff to, but that's
life. It's where Niels and I really began sharing our life together, no
more trading evenings at each other's place, here.
There's a part of me that wishes we weren't leaving, I will be truly
sad to live our little place. But I'm excited to start our new
Adventure, even if things are still up in the air...
