"Not with the foreigner", heard (in Chinese of course) when the young teacher, sitting next to me, offered her seat to an older, female, teacher so she wouldn't have to stand for the 20 minute bus ride back to the old campus.
Hearing a phrase as lovely as this makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside.
